Today we need to share with you a difficult decision: we are cancelling our 2020 summer youth programs. For the first time in seventy years, the cabins will be empty of campers and counselors. Mosquito Hollow will be far too hollow without the sounds of popping kernels and raised songs.

As we live into our values, we are committed to caring for the needs and well-being of our staff in these days of uncertainty; we are committed to doing what we can to care for the health of our camp community and broader world and making decisions that are in line with guidelines from the state and health authorities; and we are committed to ensuring that when the day comes for us to welcome you back to Camp Friedenswald, we will be here – ready as ever.
