Our large cohort of 31 summer staff arrived at Camp Friedenswald on Sunday the 4th! Among the flurry of excitement and anticipation, camp staff had opportunities to share more of their feelings about camp as well as formative life stories. Each of them bring valuable skills, energy, and past camp experiences ready to contribute. During the week, the staff’s orientation involved learning about their various roles and responsibilities, role playing scenarios, campfires, music, leading activities and much more. It was a fulfilling and exhausting week where staff were able to bond and build camp spirit. We’re eager to welcome the campers this summer!
